Excision Skin Cancers

Skin cancers can appear on any part of the skin, not just on those areas exposed to sunlight. It is important to ensure that when a skin cancer is removed it is fully excised and orientated correctly for the pathologists to interpret correctly. A secondary consideration is whether further or secondary surgery will be required. Mr Peach will be able to assess the lesion and discuss with you whether this is likely to be needed. If so, it is important to ensure that the initial surgery is orientated correctly to allow any further surgery to be carried out with a minimal cosmetic impact. Mr Peach has removed 1000’s of skin cancers will discuss with you the options and likely cosmetic outcome of any planned surgery
